Somewhere in the middle of the famous Jeruzalem Hills lies Žerovinci — a peaceful, green, and wholesome Prlekija village. People there still greet each other out loud. And there, so they say, even God sometimes comes to sit down and rest.

The next time you open your eyes, snowflakes are swirling outside. Soon everything is white and snow-covered. Once again, the scent of good white coffee and homemade tea fills the air. A clear blue sky and white clouds. Spring brings raindrops that dance in front of the large windows. You can feel the greenery coming to life — while you’re still in that comfortable armchair with a book in your hand. In summer, you’re on an exceptionally comfortable lounger, enjoying the gentle sun on the terrace in front of the house.
When you need a touch of civilization, you hop on a bike or into the car and drive to the shops or run errands — just a few minutes to Ljutomer, Ormož, Ptuj, or Maribor. If you travel by train, the Žerovinci station is only a kilometer away. And when you’re done, you’re quickly back in your “den” — yours alone.
